The functioning of the clutch action on my SM650 has definitely improved post installation of the Pro-Spec Easy Clutch Pro-Plus. This is a worthy upgrade.
But, I'd would have liked it better if the cable could have been routed via the same path as the original clutch cable by the OEM.
The routing via the new path makes this one thick cable stand out & screws the aesthetics of the handlebar area.
I had been using the EADY clutch on my Himalayan 411 and when I bought the Himalayan 450, I was not enjoying my rides due to the pain on my palm using the stock clutch.... Thanks to great Pioneering by Mandan.. We have Easy Clutch for Himalayan 450. My palm does not hurt once I installed the Easy Clutch... It is now blissful to ride my Himalayan 450 👌👌👌👌
Took a long time to make up my mind, as my experience with aftermarket accessories weren't good.
Finally when I took the plunge I'm glad I did.
The clutch action has become smoother & effortless as compared to the OEM setup.
I'd say this is a small innovation worth of note by the OEM & worthy of being integrated by the OEM themselves.
RE could do well to incorporate this in their 650 series bikes.
Now then why deduct 1 star?
The supplied cable is a trifle shorter than the OEM forcing you to re-route the cable & that doesn't look well in my eyes. If only t was a couple of inches longer it could have been routed via the original route & the placement of fulcrum re-imagined not to foul with the engine guard mount point.
Shifting gears has become hard.
